Repairs:

If we find any faults or issues on your boat, outboard or trailer then we will contact you to discuss it and give you a price for the repair or replacement.

Book Your Service:

Call us  to book your boat in at least 2 weeks in advance. Servicing is completed same day, so drop your boat off at 8am in the morning and we’ll call when it is ready to be picked up. Have your make and model ready when you call we will be able to give you an over the phone estimate, however we won’t be able to confirm the price until we have seen the boat in person.

The Importance of Boat Servicing:

Just like your car, your boat needs regular servicing to keep it operating efficiently. Many newer boats that are still under warranty also require regular servicing at set intervals to retain their warranties and to ensure that you are covered if something breaks or requires repair.

We recommend professionally servicing your boat once a year regardless of how much you use it. We would also recommend getting a service check-up if you haven’t used the boat in a while and are planning a big day out on the water.

Boat Repairs:

Often boat repairs begin with a general service, especially if you don’t know what is causing the problem. Other times you’ll be able to tell us exactly what’s gone wrong and we jump straight in.

Some of the most common boat repairs we work on are related to over heating or hitting obstacles like rocks, however our team have decades of experience and have worked with just about every type of fault or issue you could imagine.

Diagnostics:

A lot of the newer outboards use computers and we can plug a laptop in to pull up your fault reports. This will help us identify any problems caused by overheating or sensors not operating correctly. For older models, we have to do it the ‘old fashioned’ way but our experienced team have worked with just about every single make and model available on the market and are familiar with the quirks and characteristics that each brand entails.

Boat Rebuilds and Replacements:

The team at Adrians Marine Centre can rebuild parts of your outboard, gearbox or trailer. For trailers and aluminium work, we have welding equipment and capabilities on-site. Gearboxes often require rebuilds after hitting rocks or other obstacles, and we have all of the required parts, equipment and skill to complete that in-house as well.

Rebuild vs Replace:

Often for older models, it can be more economical to replace something than to rebuild it. Parts for older boats can be hard to come by and be quite expensive; replacing it can work out to be a similar price while providing new warranties and extending the boat’s lifespan.

If this is the case, we will discuss your options with you – we can often source a second-hand replacement allowing you to choose which price point suits you the best.

You are not obligated to organise your boat financing or insurance through Adrians Marine Centre – this is an additional service that we offer to ensure we provide a comprehensive service for our customers.

Boat Financing:

The first step to securing boat financing is to come instore and have a chat to one of our team members about the type of boat that you are interested in. We’ll walk you through the different new boat options as well as the available used vessels and discuss what kind of activities you’ll be using it for (fishing, water skiing, diving etc.). Once we have a fair idea of what type of boat you’re after, we can gauge your price point and start discussing financing options.

We have an in-house team that looks after our financing options and they’ll start by collecting some basic information from you to submit to our two partners, Mercury Finance and CreditOne to see what your options are and what kind of interest rate they will offer you.

Adrians Marine Centre work with two industry recognised insurance partners – Nautilus Marine and Club Marine. Each partner offers competitive policies and we will help you submit your details so that you can get a quote from each to decide which is better suited to your needs. Our team will then organise and finalise your policy for you so that your new boat is fully insured from the moment you pick it up from our premises.
